Loving You | A Poem by Rishan Singh

To love you is easy,

it's the time that's difficult:
an obstacle that makes us one,
uniting you with me.
To love you is nothing,
it's your adornment on the outside which means:
an obstruction that separates us,
uniting me with you.
To love you is terminal,
it's the seed that must crackle:
an object that blurs us from joining,
diverting us from conjoining.
To love you is a dream,
it's the compost that must enter you:
an ingredient that makes you accept me,
making you bloom, right before my eyes.
