Show Her the Light | A Poem by Anni Pea

Feel the hardness of her soul,
the grey areas, the invisible low.
Her mind rambling, fighting it
with all the strength she ever had.
While growing too, undid her faith
like it was never there to begin with.
Feel the roughness of her mind,
the unforgiven state of signs.
Her hands trembling, thinking of
your pasts meeting, years ago.
Tens of dreams, every night,
but she never saw the light.
Feel the warmth of her touch,
the sinking feeling in your gut.
Your heart jumped, singing of
all the good, bad to come from it.
Don�t lie, you feel it too,
yell her name and follow her.
Show the light,
a better way to fight.
Cross her path, make her whole,
undo the damage, cure her soul.
Share the light,
with all your might.
Make her feel, show her the truth,
that she�s the only one to learn.
