It was 2012

I was told I would be given a share of a property

I asked many times for my share of the pie

I was told different, confusing stories about my portion

I sometimes wondered was I totally sure about what I said

Then I found it written in my diary, and, there was no more doubt about the issue.

It is 2018, I still have not received my money.

I will not be cheated, I will not be taken for granted.
