I believe the land will rise
I believe the land will shine
I believe the land of Kashmir will be free from oppression, barbarism, brutality 
I believe the land will not forget how the daughter is abused, tortured, raped, subjugated, harassed 
And how the son of the soil is martyred, disappeared, detained, destroyed, devastated
I believe the land of Kashmir will not forget innocents' sacrifices
I believe the land will never forget the fire in paradise
I believe the land will rise
I believe the land will defeat brutality and tyranny
I believe the land will rise
