there's really not much to say
about my dad except that
he was never there for me,
oh sure he was in the house
but i couldn't talk to him about
anything important or anything
having to do with how i felt inside
those things made him too uncomfortable,
so he just withdrew into a black hole of
closed-mindedness and insecurity,
unable to relate to me on any level
unwilling to even try, leaving me alone
to figure everything out without a father
letting his fear engulf everything
